Company history of LINDENMANN
1961
Lindenmann is founded on 01.07.1961 by Karl Lindenmann and his son Karl Heinz Lindenmann. The trained businessmen specialize in the sale of men’s jewelry in the gold town of Pforzheim. To date, their customers include all men’s outfitters throughout Germany. 1965
Due to increasing demand, it becomes necessary to move from the cramped premises in Luisenstrasse to a new building in Kronprinzenstrasse. 1968
The George Chabrolle brand is launched on the market. The name stands for classic elegance and timeless design. 1972
Jeans fashion emerges, causing demand for cufflinks and tie bars to plummet. Karl Heinz Lindenmann therefore decides to add leather belts to the range and produce them himself.
